Turning 28

I am turning 28 next week. Not a bad age. Not old enough to be a grown-up, not young enough to be a kiddo. It’s an in-between state I guess. I am not going to moan about how old I feel, or how time passes. I’ve decided to have a positive attitude towards this birthday. And I’m starting by changing 28 things of my life. There has 28 things I could improve, so I think I should put them to practice, and start as soon as I hit the 28 mark.

1.- I will stop moaning about everything. A bit of moaning doesn’t hurt anyone, but I will try to see the positive side out of (almost) everything.

2.- I will improve my body and my health. If I don’t like how I look (too thin, people, too thin!) then I will work on improving it by more exercising and better diet.

3.- I will exercise more (as to get point two).

4.- I will eat better (as to help point three and get point two). :-)

5.- I won’t feel the need to defend my taste in neither films or music. I like what I like, deal with it.

6.- I won’t waste my time with people that don’t deserve it.

7.- ‘No’ won’t be the first answer to any invite I get.

8.- I will be more outgoing.

9.- I will be less shy.

10.- I will stop watching TV programs that I actually don’t like (Two Men and a Half, anyone?) only because they are on TV at that moment.

11.- I won’t judge people who like Big Brother.

12.- I won’t judge people who do not like Eurovision (what’s that about!?).

13.- I won’t be ashamed or feel the need to defend my liking of Eurovision.

14.- I will play more with Edi, the guinea pig, who deserves anything he asks for (ie, lettuce, tomatoes, etc).

The next 14 will come soon… This post is long enough, and I need to go to bed!

I like you. Do not change, please. You are very sweet and very handsome :)

Thanks reader Inmaculada (mother!). I am not trying to change but to improve in what is, already, a cracking personality! :)

Like the Bible says, (know the book, eh? :) these 14 commandments are in fact two:

I- take care of my physical and psychological body
II- respect the others and don’t let them interfere with point I

    Good luck!

(Only one suggestion: don’t be as superstitious as the colombian people, and START TODAY, don’t wait for the 28th!)
