So, I know I haven’t written in the blog for a while (let’s call it a couple of months…), but I’ve been busy. Busy applying for a PhD, and getting it (go me!) and now busy trying to find funding for it (and no clue if going to get it, but here’s hoping!).
I’m back though! I’m here! I’m alive! And hopefully I will start writing more often.
Enough apologies though, let’s get down to business. I don’t do New Year resolutions, but I was reading www.afterelton.com (awesome website for all gay-related issues), and one of the guys there (Brian Juergens in fact), has down as one of the resolutions to finally watch the last season of Six Feet Under. I know it sounds really random, but it is just that I have finally started watching the last season myself, after over a year of refusing to do so! I don’t know Brian’s reasons for not having watched the last season before, but my reason is pretty simple: I think I know that one of the main characters will die, and I just can’t deal with that fact. I only know because of the photo at the back of the boxset where all the characters are in a funeral but him (which made me guess it’s his funeral), and I just haven’t been able to deal with that fact, hence why I haven’t seen it at all, even if I bought the boxset two or three years ago.
But I have finally started it, and though I’ve only seen two episodes, I love it. It is an amazing series, and I know everyone raves about the last episode, so I’m in for a good ride… If only he didn’t die…
ps: If you want to read all the new year resolutions the guys at afterelton.com have made, click here. They’re pretty funny some of them!
Good luck with your PhD!
Thanks ZoltarStark!!
