It’s a Protein Life…
I’ve been wanting to discuss the gym issue for a couple of weeks. In fact since the bloggers at www.olivetalks.com had a blog entry in my honour (tear of joy, cheers lads!) about gaining weight and gym duties for fast metabolism guys like me. What!? You didn’t read the entry? Baaaaad reader. Here’s the link. Now read it!
So, as we were saying, I had a look at the post and something stuck to my mind: I need a bigger diet on proteins than normal if I want to bulk up. I kind of already knew this, but reading it again made me realise that if I want it, I have to go get it, so I started searching the net to learn which food is high on proteins: chicken breasts, fish, cheese, eggs… So there you go, I shall eat more tuna, boiled eggs and cheese. And also have a couple chicken breast thrown in for good meassure…
And then, when I was happy with all my future protein intake, my search came up with…. PROTEIN FARTS! Yes, you read right, protein farts. If you search ‘protein farts’ in google, you will come up with around 29,700 entries. So we are into something here. Apparently, the more protein you eat, the more often and smellier your farts become. Great! Someone in one of the websites discusses that he ‘get(s) extremely wicked gas’ thanks to his high protein intake. Another guy, with a very good advice tells you that ‘Whatever you do don’t stand in front of someone while you are doing squats’. So, does this mean that, to get a good body, to bulk up a bit, I need to loose all my friends!? Will my farts be so bad that I will kill my partner in his sleep? Will my cute little guinea pig pack the bags and go? Will I be left alone for the rest of my days thanks to my beautiful, smelly farts? Will my only lasting friends be those same ones who, since they have lost all friends, can only find solace in the protein farts-chart rooms and discussion boards that populate the internet? I’m not sure yet… but there’s only one way to find out. Proteins, here I come! Make way people, the farting has started.

he he, that was funny! I actually noticed more and smellier farts after eating carbohydrates, something to do with the sugars fermenting…

Dude i totaly know what you mean with the smelly farts! i have been very gassy as lof late because i have been taking in a lot of protien. i remember when i was at the gym the other day doing some sit up i let one go by mistake of course and it was very load and there was a couple of people around me luckly they had hear phones in but still was very imbarasing! It was very funny though i rolled into the corner and had a laugh to myself.
