The Stork, The Guinea Pig & The Elephant

I already said I got an addictive personality. Furthermore, that addiction more often than not comes hand in hand with the obssesive side of me… And DVDs brings this addictive/obssesive personality to the full.

I have just seen, through the amazing www.tvshowsondvd.com website (honest, you should all check it out if you like your tv programs, it is great!) that loads of my favourite tv series are coming to DVD in September. And now I got the excitment shakes… I am, in fact, so looking forward to this month, that I’ve decided to start saving right now, mainly since it will knock me back a couple of hundred pounds with all those DVD boxsets I want to buy! (If you see me begging in the streets, feel free to donate money, one needs to feed his addiction, and hospital treatment is not an option in this case).

So, we got Lost, Desperate Housewives and Grey’s Anatomy (all of them season four) coming out.  Plus Prison Break, Supernatural and The Muppet Show season 3 at some point… And can not wait to check out Dexter, Ugly Betty (I know, has been out for ages, but haven’t seen it yet), Samantha Who?,  Brothers & Sisters (as Ugly Betty, haven’t seen it yet, but I can bet I will love it), Dirty Sexy Money… Oh! And Pushing Daisies, which comes out mid June or July…  

At the moment I’m tearing through Dirt season one, and loving every minute of it (although episode 4 seemed a bit weak for me…). How good is Courtney Cox!? She really shatters her Monica from Friends‘ image to bits in the first five minutes of the show! I think Dirt is far supperior to Entourage (which deals with the same ideas), and I say that even though I really enjoy Entourage itself!

So, yes… I have an addictive personality. I got a DVD obsession… and come September, please feel free to re-read old blog posts… God knows I will be watching television for some time…
